Vintage Japanese Cream & Sugar Set

Vintage 6-sided Japanese cream and sugar bowl with lid. Each of 6 sides has a panel with a detailed frame and a very detailed scene of white water lily/lotus flowers with finely detailed birds inside the frame. Loads of detail and soft shades of green, yellow, deep rose with white and yellow in the scenes and the intricate trim work. Flanged lid on sugar bowl is also 6-sided with detailed work. Hand painting on top edge of creamer and lid and knob. Roomy handle and good pouring spout on creamer. All on soft cream background with a matte glaze and small dots same colour as edge trim scattered about. Detailed 6 feet on each piece. Name of manufacturer and Japan stamped on bottom of each piece. Green (removable) felt pads on the bottom on each piece. Elegant and timeless. Pristine condition - no cracks, scratches, stains or crazing. Never used - only displayed in a china cabinet.
