I've been asked if any of the photos have writing or other identification as to their location.
Most of the pictures were together with the postcards that I have listed separately. Those are, at least the ones from that period, from Ontario with a few from Quebec and some in Mass. and VT.
"Marnie Andrews Souvenir of First Communion June 6 1913 age 7 yrs"
The train passing 'over' the water has Canadian National and Canadian Pacific cars as well as T.E.M. The latter should place it in Ontario.
One of the train engines has Temiskaming - placing it in Ontario (or more likely, Northern Ontario.)
One of the automobiles has an Ontario license plate "Ont 1924"
One picture has, written on the front, "1923 Virginia scene"
The soldier standing on the log over a body of water, "taken on the Potomac River Dec 25th 1923 Quantico, Va"
One has stamped on the back, "HUNTBOY MAIL ORDER HOUSE 'Service and Satisfaction' 166 Bay Street TORONTO CANADA"
On a circus photo one of the buildings has a sign "Barton Hotel Rooms"
Cross referencing the photos with the postcards (see separate listing), the photo of the soldier is the same man as in one of the photo postcards. The postcard has written "Hamilton Ontario, Nov 15/18 Compliments of P** Stew Andrews"
The surname "Andrews" is noted on some of the photos. The Circus photo with "Barton Hotel Rooms" may likely refer to a location in Barton Township, now part of Hamilton, Ontario.
