Shawnee oven proof pink bowl (Kenwood) with in-mold designs of roosters, tea kettles, coffee pots, cutlery, etc.
The ceramic lid has a copper glaze with a hammered effect. It has both a handle and a pouring spout which makes it a casserole / batter bowl / mixing bowl combo.
The lid has a slight wear to the edges of the copper glaze as well as on the knob.
It is a very difficult to find item in Art Deco style rom the 1940s.
Diameter is 8"; Height is 4" plus the lid.
Shawnee Pottery was in production in Zanesville, Ohio between 1937 and 1961. (7372)
