This is an Original Lithograph Lobby Card from the iconic Worst Film of 1983, The Lonely Lady, starring the Worst Actress of 1983, Pia Zadora, with Jared Martin and Ray Liotta in his film debut.

How bad is this film ? I worry some day that the world will see a major nuclear war. If it does, the survivors will say while digging out, “that was horrible. But come to think about it, it wasn’t as horrible as watching “The Lonely Lady”.

How bad is Pia Zadora as an actress? Starring as Anne Frank in the stage production of The Diary of Anne Frank, her performance was so bad that when the Nazi soldiers came looking for her at the end of the stage show, the audience cried out “she’s in the attic, she’s in the attic!”.

It measures 8x10 inches and is Lobby Card #1 of 8, which is the most noteworthy of the original set of 8 lobby cards.

It has the National Screen Service number NSS 830107.

The Original 8 Lobby Cards were displayed in the lobby of the Odeon Danforth Movie Theatre in Toronto during the original run of the film in September of 1983, but only this #1 lobby card was kept.

It is in Near Mint / Mint Condition with no tape, no pinholes, no edge wear and stored in a plastic sleeve for many years.

This film is notable in that it was nominated for 11 Golden Raspberry Awards and won six: Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Actress (Pia Zadora who also won in 1982 for the film Butterfly), Worst Musical Score, Worst Original Song ("The Way You Do It") and Worst Screenplay.

It is also notable in that Pia Zadora was nominated for Worse Actress of the 20th Century but unfortunately, lost to Madonna.
