Hinged Tin, Deers

Hinged tin for biscuits made by Peek, Frean & Co. Ltd, London, S.E. 16, England. It has an octagonal base and top with rectangular sides. This tin is very decorative, with a rich raised design, sponged background, black, green and red trims, images in gold of deer which are sitting and eating under the blossomed trees on the panels. This design is in cream, ivory, gold, green, and red colours. Measurements appr.: Base, diagonals of the base octagon: 5” each Top, diagonals of the top octagon: 5” each Height: 5” and 3/8” This tin is in a used great condition.
