Len Gibbs (1929-2010),Saturday Night,original lithograph

Len Gibbs (1929-2010) was a western Canadian realist artist. He generally worked in acrylic but while doing a series of paintings of his daughter he also did an equivalent lithograph in an edition of 40. I have shown the watercolour which shows the mirror which is not visible in "Saturday Night" but was a main focus of the acrylic painting. According to the book "The Art of Len Gibbs" (1981) the lithograph was a realistic portrait of his daughter while the other two images were more stylized. Image size 15 1/2 x 11 inches. Very good condition except that the window opening has darkened a bit. There is also the slightest crease across the sheet which somewhat affects the margins but not the image - my scan makes this crease look worse than it is. Signed, numbered and titled in pencil. The date is prior to 1981.
