Vintage CHILD Size Rockers – 4 to choose from

Four different child rockers are offered = four prices and details are listed below. All four chairs are in good condition, with wear commensurate with age. Chair A (image 2) This charming 65 year old rocking chair is a delightful find, combining nostalgic appeal with sturdy craftsmanship. The central splat and caned seat are in solid condition. Made of solid wood – we were going to paint it a primary red, so it has already been sanded for the new owner. Measures about 32”H at the back x 15”W seat. Asking $65 Chair B (images 3-4) The antique, hand-carved back is beautiful on this all original Edwardian period child's rocking chair. Made of solid ash and maple. ‘Turned’ side supports add unique details to this miniature rocker. Tapered rocker rails are also original. The frame is tight and strong. It measures approximately 35” at the tallest point. Offered for $125 Chair C (images 5-7) Definitely our favourite from the late 1800s! It is just for display purposes – although it is solid, the wicker is fragile and should NOT be used in a nursery or playroom. Used for staging, antique settings / photos, et cetera. Outstanding details in the wicker designs. About 26”H x 19”W. Wood is solid maple. It is all original with unique craftsmanship displayed from all angles. It is from the north Oshawa area and may have belonged to the McLaughlin family estate! A unique antique - $225 Chair D (image 8) Cute, child rocker from the late 1950s. The wooden chair back features four turned spindles, with open arms. It is raised on four turned legs, turned stretchers and with two skid rockers. Structurally solid and sound.
