As part of an ongoing major fundraiser competing with endless other shelters including the huge Humane society entities, we were lucky enough to acquire a very large diverse collection of antiques and collectibles by a seasoned collector who purchased some of these items across the globe. We are informed this table dates back to about 1850 from Lanark County and we are asking for a $1200 donation for this item to our animal rescue. We tend to over 200 animals and it cost a fortune to keep afloat with no money other than donations coming in. As such, we are not offering flea market items for low rates as our overhead is substantial. Check us out at . . There should be a feature about us in the Toronto Star within the next few weeks of this posting.

The silk throw which is also in the picture is $500 and according to Christie's dates back to about 1860 at least. A great example of the skill set of the Scottish settlers who founded Eastern Ontario as we know it today. The wicker rocking chair is $200. Please note we are also offering two spinning wheels. Would be nice to have these beside the finished product! Thank you for looking and remember we are a cause based outfit, not a dealership.
