Lou Reed - "New York" Original 1989 Vinyl LP

Lou gets it right & tight again, finally. "New York" is the 1st in a trilogy of excellent Lou Reed albums that are probably his finest post-Velvet Underground achievements. There is very little variation in the dry musical style, which is basically a simple but colorful & expressive electric lead/rhythm guitar taking cues from Reed's headline-based lyrics. N.B., "This album ... It's meant to be listened to in one 58 minute (14 songs!) sitting though it were a book or a movie".
