Signed Paque / Serge Paquet Sailing Ship Original Oil Painting Framed. Framed size is 43 cm x 58 cm / 17"x 23". Painting size is 30 cm x 38 cm / 12" x 15". The painting and the frame appear to be in excellent condition. The paper on the back is torn around the frame. See photos. Paque / Serge Paquet is an internationally recognized artist from Quebec. His artwork has sold at auctions all over the world. He works in various mediums including watercolor, oil and acrylic and gouache. He was born in the parish of St Malo Quebec and from 1964 to 1985 he exhibited at various venues including his city, Quebec, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. He was one of the founding members of the Rue du Trésor in Québec City, a street dedicated to the artists in the shadow of the Chateau Frontenac. His works, especially his street scenes, could be found there every summer.
