This is a scarce circa 1920 Imperial 9 inch tall Ripple vase that is light smoke on the top half and white on the bottom half. It has a gilded edge what shows wear. It's 2 1/2 inch base classify it as the "mini" version of the Ripple pattern. It was vigorously "swung" when manufactured, so the rings typically seen on Ripple vases are flattened out and only faintly visible. The exterior has beautiful pastel teal, amethyst/pink and light smoke iridescence that illuminates brightly in sunlight or under lights. The interior has the same iridescence but is not as strong. There are no chips, cracks or scratches and no notable wear other than on the gilded edge. An attractive, delicate, pastel version of a carnival glass vase that will contrast nicely with your darker iridized carnival glass pieces. From a smoke-free, pet free home
