This watch is an estate find and although, I don't know its exact age I was told, by the daughter, that it belonged to her mom who was 72 when she died in 1993 and she (the daughter) didn't know how long her mom had it before then. It’s Solar brand, which was the house brand for the Timothy Eaton department store of Canada and in the late 1940's Eaton's offered several Solar styles, such as Solar Admiral, Solar King of Wings, Solar Aqua to name just a few, all with a seconds hand; I'm thinking that this watch may be a bit earlier as it is marked just Solar with a crown symbol and has no seconds hand. At time of this listing, its working but, due to its age, should be cleaned, oiled & serviced. The stem feels-like it is on a small spring and, when winding, it has to be pushed in & held in while winding. It's a dainty little watch with a small face & petite stretch band. I don't know if the band is original but I'm including a stretch band in a different style and, I think, a bit larger. Solar, 21 Jewels, Incabloc, Swiss is on the face, Twenty One, 21 Jewels, Swiss & the name Semag (which is yet another brand) is marked on the workings...the inside of the case is marked Liberty Watch Case Co., Stainless, Made In Canada.
