The solid wood - dark brown frame is approximately 4 one quarter inch wide. The overall dimensions of the picture is 35 inches wide by 56 inches in length. This is not your typical Home Sense type picture. I purchased this at a high end Interior Design Shop. Asking $275. - Well worth it and a great price. just reduced the price.
