Restaurant Ware Sovereign Potters Double Green Stripe Cup Mid Century: This piece dates to the 1930s-1950s, judging by the manufacturer’s mark. It is backstamped in green ink with letters encircling a maple leaf atop the word CANADA: D SOVEREIGN POTTERS HOTEL CHINA Underneath is stamped: V-3 It is decorated with three stripes: One of medium thickness, the other thin, around the rim, and another thin stripe about 1” further down. There is a stripe running vertically on the handle also. It is about 3-5/8” diameter x 2-3/8” high. It is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Ours is a smoke-free home.
