Located in the southeastern part of British Columbia near the Alberta border, there are several McDougall families that still live in the area. She was a local artist who visited the park on many occasions and painted many scenes in all seasons, along the Kootenay River.
Here is a well travelled summer's road, accessible to the river and in full view of the grandeur that are the Rockies. A mist is rolling in upon the river while overhead the usual cloud formations are appearing over this beautiful National Park.
To spend an afternoon in this place is unforgettable but to have the pleasure of coming as many times as you please is luxury.
This beautiful watercolor is a lovely reminder to anyone who has ever visited. Think of this as a doorway or a welcome mat and what a beautiful world to explore.
Original frame and artwork in good condition. Ready to hang.
