Here we have the first issue, from 1978, of the Making Friends Series of plates from an original painting by Irish McCalla. This one is titled Feeding the Neighbors Pony, and was made by the Viletta Company of USA, and is numbered 2889 of a run of 5000. This is a plate with a very limited world printing, and there are very few around. It is a cute piece that measures 8 1/2" in diameter and is in excellent condition.
