W P Gamon (1900 - ) his/her paintings are strewn across Canada from the villages out East along the coast to the forests and cliffs of Ontario and out into the Pacific coast.
The paintings are dated around the 1950's towards 1970's by way of style and age of the works. Some of the paintings follow closely those of Eileen Rothernel, a listed Canadian artist who also loves to paint landscapes across Canada enveloped in mist.
This is a faithful, delicate painting of an early Spring's day with all the soft colors that an early season brings out of the ground and out of the forest. Everything is painted with a delicate hand with the colors saturated with melting snow covering the wetness of Spring underneath.
A beautiful frame and painting in good condition, ready to hang.
