This oil painting gives us a quiet autumn day by a slow moving river.
This is an excellent example of Cantrell’s landscape paintings depicting a Michigan wetland scene. There are deep browns, greens, umbers, and oranges that contrast with a lovely white mist under a cloudy blue sky.
Signed bottom right, vintage frame and painting in good condition.
