15 Inch Antique Hubert Herr one day working Railroad style Cuckoo Clock, made in Czechoslovakia with brass movement. The movement has been cleaned and lubricated. The clock is working it cuckoo's on the ½ hour and on the hour while also striking the hour on the gong attached to the back door. Original label on the back door. The clock has a hand painted wood bird in color that is working on the two bellows. Bellows are made of leather. 75g and 100g weights are original to the clock. Face Dial signed Czechoslovakia The clock probably originated from one of the clock factories established in the old Boheme region. A railroad cuckoo clock is called that because it is modeled after the houses where the railroad gate keepers lived along the German railroads.
