I'm a local collector who has lived in Thunder Bay for 40+ years.
At this time, I am looking to for the following items to buy:
1) ALL Gold & Silver Coins, Bars, Ingots, bank notes, US/CAN currency bills, all coin collections , Bank Notes (1954 and older), Canadian Silver Coins(1967 and older) , US silver Coins(1964 and older)
2) 1980's He-man & GI Joe Action Figures
3) Comic Books (1965 and older)
4) Broken or unwanted gold Jewelry
5) 1980's Nintendo & Atari games
6) Sports cards/card collections - Hockey, Baseball, basketball, football - mostly rookie cards. Gretzky, Jordan etc. I prefer the 1989 and older cards. Graded cards are ok as well.
As a hobby collector, I pay the fair market prices in Thunder Bay with CASH. I am not a business, like a pawnshop, or a traveling antique hotel buyer, or a jewelry shop --> as they only pay 30%-50% of value and require you to give them your ID, home address, email, phone number and usually pay you with a cheque.
If you're serious about selling and cashing out. I pay cash on the spot.
