Carved Wooden Cowboy Cupboard

This totally original wood carving creation is a one of a kind piece. There will never be another one like it. I would consider any decent offer. I am ready to barter.

The vest is a secret cupboard that slides smoothly open without even bumping into the arms - which was tricky to make. He's 6 feet 4 inches tall, 2 feet wide from arm to arm, and made from all reclaimed very dry wood. No cracks. He has a subtle shiny coating over the acrylic paint that makes it easy to clean him with a damp cloth. His hat comes off. He was made in 2005. He took 6 full time/overtime weeks to design, build, carve and paint. His secret cupboard can hold 2 stacked rows of your favourite cd's; 24 cd's per row or a couple of bottles of whiskey...

When people see a glimpse of him from outside, as they walk by a window, he looks like a real person inside. When you aren't used to him - at 1st - and see him out of the corner of your eye, it's as if someone is there. But, you will get used to him quickly. He decorates a corner of a room quite nicely. The artist signature is on the leather belt loop on the back of his jeans. He is in perfect condition, smooth and shiny, although his hands are a little rough as a cowboy's hands are. He's an awesome piece and he is looking for a nice new home.

If you are interested in him, please call Susanne 604-222-9149. Phoning is best but it's a landline so please leave a message if I'm not there, and I'll get back to you a.s.a.p. Thanks!
