This is a beautiful Coronet Super 12 made by Smith-Corona in the 1970s.
This typewriter is in pristine condition and everything works exactly as it should.
The machine functions as it would have 40 years ago when it was first made.
Please keep in mind that this is an electric typewriter, and while it is portable, it needs to be plugged in in order to work; however, despite this slight inconvenience, it is far easier to use than regular portable manual typewriters.
Typing requires very little pressure, and this machine is equipped with a "return" button so you do not have to manually return the carriage.
The leather cover does what it needs to do -- protects the typewriter from dust and debris and make it easy to maintain and extend reliability.
"My first typewriter was actually this exact model; I still have it on my desk. Out of all my other machines, it is still the one I use most.
Overall, this typewriter is a beautiful machine in excellent condition. It's a pleasure to type on -- it would make for a great first typewriter, and is ideal for frequent and heavy use"
