Vintage Cardboard Candy Box

I'm calling this cardboard candy box vintage only because I can't put a definitive date on it, but, if I was a betting person, I would say it's an antique for sure. Made by the MA Brown Paper Box Company out of St Louis MO, which was founded in 1911 by Marcus A Brown. I believe this to be a candy box of some kind because of the "Net Weight 39 oz" stamp on the bottom. It's not perfect, but for its age, it's still in pretty decent shape. 13 inches long and 6 inches wide. The smartly dressed Victoria lady who has a resemblance to Marie Antoinette is totally embossed from head to toe. This would make a great dresser or keepsake box for all your special small things. I found similar one online that sold in excess of $110 so for my asking price, you're getting a great deal. Pick up on Buchanan Blvd here in St James. Drop me a message if you're interested. Thanks.
