Job duties for Front Desk include but not limited to: • Consistently offering professional customer service; while working in a fast-paced environment. • Able to work independently or in a team • Provide courteous and efficient telephone services • Register arriving guests and assign rooms • Process arrivals and departures and calculate charges and receive payments • Promotes up-selling and perfect fill strategies • Book, cancel or change room reservations • Provide information on property facilities and services • Provide general information about points of interest in the area • Investigate and resolve guest complaints • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms • Understanding of emergency and safety procedures • Perform property checks Preferred Education and Qualifications: Flexible & energetic. Able to work under pressure. Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills. 1 year in guest customer service tourism industry. Ability to use standard software applications, such as Microsoft office/excel and hotel systems. High School Diploma or equivalent. Positive, professional demeanor. Strong computer & telephone skills.
