We are looking for Part time help that could lead to full time employment and growth in our Chef Inspired group of restaurants located in 3 Atlantic Canada provinces.

As our new cook, you'll join our small team in day-to-day activities in our restaurant kitchen, while working alongside our FOH team to prepare and create Italian themed dinners.

You’ll be responsible for working alongside our Chef for daily restaurant operations, executing menus, and specials, as well as participating in the training of new kitchen staff. We want you to grow with us a small 80 seat restaurant with innovative Italian dishes using local ingredients.

You love great food, wine, and have a strong knowledge of Italian cooking, fresh pasta, homemade sauces and fresh Italian breads and pizza. You’re willing to learn and stay current on what’s currently trending in the market from the Italian style menu, to what we offer, and events we hold.

You'll be putting your mark and building our team reputation on this new concept in Charlottetown by helping us get ready to launch a seasonal menu for our locals in the winter months and new menu for the tourists in the summer months using as much local ingredients as possible.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

People skills –​ you’re a strong communicator not only with your own kitchen staff but create a harmonious relationship with your front of house (FOH)staff.

Creativity​ – you have the ability to come up with innovative solutions to problems that arise.

Teamwork skills​ – you believe in supporting your staff with a hands-on approach and will jump in before there is a demand. .

Working at Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar This is a part-time permanent position working at least 20+ hours a week Tuesday through Saturday.
