Figs Breakfast & Lunch is looking for experienced staff to join our team. POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Server Assistant server Line/prep cook Dishwasher Kitchen assistant HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in working with us, we would love to meet you! PLEASE BRING YOUR RESUME IN PERSON as soon as possible. We are located at 344 QUEEN STREET EAST, UNIT #4. This is the northwest corner of Queen & Parliament (Entrance is on Parliament behind the Subway restaurant). We are open daily. Best time to come is around 10:30am. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We are a busy family-run restaurant in downtown Toronto operating for almost 20 years, specializing in traditional breakfast and lunch food. We are well known for having excellent food and service with a no-frills approach. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: - Daytime hours only. - Shifts are 4-6 hours in length. - 3-5 shifts per week. - Must be available to work weekends (some flexibility is possible). - Pay is set as per Ontario minimum wage plus tips where applicable. WHAT WE EXPECT: - ONE YEAR MINIMUM experience working in restaurants and/or professional kitchens. - Be reliable and hard working - Have good communication skills and good customer service skills - Ability to handle, prepare and/or serve food with care - Maintain a high level of cleanliness in kitchen, serving areas and/or all areas of the restaurant - Contribute to a positive working environment and operate as part of a tightly knit team Thank you!
