We are seeking a seasonal Cook to join our team of professionals at Big Hole Fishing Lodge, in Curventon, NB.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Prepare and cook buffet-style meals or individual dishes and foods Baking a wide variety of foods, snacks, bread and desserts. Prepare and cook special meals for clients (must be experienced cooking to ensure food allergies, restrictions and intolerances are adhered) Prepare and clean work area. Follow instructions from supervisor. Follow Food Safe requirements Be punctual. Spend long hours on feet or standing up. Be able to clean a large kitchen. Have knowledge of local sanitation laws and safety regulations. Be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally more than 35 pounds.
Qualifications: 1-2 years minimum experience Clean background check Upbeat, positive attitude Clear Criminal Record Check ___________________ Big Hole Fishing Camp Our camp is located in a remote area and local staff live offsite in the community, though onsite accommodation is possible and can be included in the compensation package. A typical shift schedule is 6 days on 2 days off, commencing at 6 am until 3 pm.
Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces.. All new staff are required to complete pre-employment onboarding orientations. Our camp team members include kitchen staff, cleaners, hunting and fishing guides, grounds maintenance, golf superintendent and general manager.
