A Chef Assistant supports the head chef in meal preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining food quality standards, ensuring a smooth operation in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients for meals, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
Cooking: Help in cooking and plating dishes under the supervision of the head chef, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest quality standards.
Kitchen Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing food inventory, including ordering supplies, checking stock levels, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the head chef in menu development and recipe creation, contributing ideas for new dishes and seasonal offerings.
Fulltime in school cafeteria
Monday to Friday from 7:00 am-2:00pm

Min 3 years cooking experience
