It fits a king size mattress. It is close to 8 feet long, just over 7 feet wide and the back head board is about 5 feet tall. It is such a beautiful bed but it is a monster of a bed in size and weight. We believe the wood is pine.
It is already taken apart and sitting in our hall.
You must bring a truck. I can help you load it. But keep in mind it is fairly heavy.
