Having to rehome my best friend of 7 years due to living arrangements changing.
You must have a kid free home. Although I have kids in the 7 years I have had tiki he has gone into immediate attack mode at their sight.
Tiki is at least 17 years old, and clearly has had a not so great past before he came to me. It took almost a year for him to get comfortable with me and not bite so I expect the same with a new owner. His bites are obviously painful. You have to take it slow with him.
Tiki will come with a large king cage that was $2 alone. He does not talk aside from something that sounds similar to “pretty bird” and “ya” and he can bark in big dog and little dog lol
I want him in a home that has large bird experience so I don’t have to worry about him just being repeatedly rehomed due to his behaviour. He is extremely bonded to me and this will be a difficult time for him and he needs all the love possible to adjust. He is a very picky eater that loves his seeds and cashew. And scrambled eggs is one of his favourite treats
