contemplating rehoming my 11 year old Amazon Pedro. He’s a pretty boy I could tell you a thousand things about how he’s such a character with a personality. For an Amazon he very easy to take care of. likes his alone time as well as prefers the company of females but once he gets to know men he’s fine with them. if he really likes you then you can even pet him.
He’s very confident isn’t scared of anything. His wings are not clipped but he doesn’t fly and likes to crawl on the floor, you can take him outside without worrying about flying away.
He gets along very well with dogs/cats/ chickens and small kids.
They do tend to have a temper and he isn’t afraid to show you it if he’s annoyed or angry.
