The glass door slide-up windows have x-shaped flat metal tracking guides. Made of mahogany, which is relatively rare, as most antique barrister bookcases I’ve seen have been oak. Exterior is dark red-brown in colour. Made in the USA by Globe Wernicke, which is unusual, as all the other antique barrister bookcases I’ve seen so far have been made in Canada.
