Petmate 40 inch kennel 70 -90 lb dog

This Petsmart Compass kennel is great for most large breeds ( labs, golden, German shepherds etc.) With an overall length of 40 inches and a height of 29 inches. Our 75lb lab has more room than he needs. This is an excellent choice for house training or even daily crating and air or road travel. It has more ventilation than most plastic kennels and is more comfortable than wire cages. It is extremely sturdy, but weighs only 25 lbs An important feature to watch for is the top and bottom "Hooks" built into the door. They keep even the most stubborn pooch from stretching the doorway up until the door hinges release. Stretching sideways is also impossible This unit has slide and snap assembly, plus 4 bolts with wing nuts to secure for air travel. Missing one plastic latch, but unit is still secure, or just add a zip tie. We just don't need this. Since the kids moved out our dog gets the back seat . I can bring this in to Calgary, Okotoks or Strathmore. Bring your dog to test for size.
