1997 Pazmany PL-2 all metal 2 place plans built aircraft. 325 TTAF, Lycoming O-320 150 hp with Hartzel constant speed prop, cowl flap. Both Slick mags have been replaced with electronic ignition in the last 50 hrs: Surefly replacing the impulse coupled (left) one, and a P-mag with built in b/u generator on the right, for reliability in an electrical failure scenario. Icom radio, intercom, mode C transponder, Garmin Aera 660 with panel mount, steam gauges . Zoleo satellite communicator still new in box included (requires subscription). Recent upgrades beside the ignition include new fuel boost pump, leather seats, artificial horizon, vacuum pump and seal, crankcase vacuum and breather oil separator from Anti Splat Aero ( love these!) two piece fibreglass wheel pants for mains. Performance numbers are with them installed. I would describe flying characteristics as similar to a Cherokee but sportier. Light elevator but somewhat heavy on ailerons. Fast control response all axises. This is a plans built airplane, registered in the amateur built category in Canada. Info on type is limited online but I have a briefcase full of paper that comes with. Too much to get into here. It’s a great airplane and I’ve been able to give the kids their memories of flying with dad in it, including long cross country runs between BC and Ontario. Lots of love has gone into this, and it has been well maintained and flown steadily 7 months/year for the last 3 years (160 + hrs in that time). Last Annual was 9/28/2023 I have no documentation on the engine before it was put in this plane, so it is “on condition” based on compressions and examination of oil filter screen. Compressions at last annual were 70/80, 64/80, 65/80, 70/80, and oil screen was clear.
