Rolleiflex Cameras

Unexpected expenses have come up and sadly I need to sell two of my favourite cameras. The first is an Automat / MX-EVS. It’s been used fairly heavily, with lots of visible markings. There is some fungus in the viewing lens that isn’t visible through the viewfinder and does not impede composition or focus. There is a tiny speck of fungus in the taking lens that was caught early, treated immediately, and hasn’t grown at all in years. I can’t detect any issues in the negatives or final images, though I haven’t performed especially critical tests. Functionally, great for its age and condition. All of the mechanics work well and function properly. Focus is easy, shutter fires well, the pictures are clear and reasonably sharp. This lens design has some limitations, but if you know how to use it is still capable of stunning images. Overall, the camera is banged up, a little dusty, and not for collectors or perfectionists. It’s still capable of some great photos, and should keep rolling for quite awhile with regular maintenance. This would be an awesome first medium format camera, or a backup/bad weather camera. The second camera is a Rolleiflex 2.8D in fantastic condition. Not much to say really, everything functions perfectly, lenses are great, even the accessories are clean. I will take the first decent offer on either camera individually, or as a package. Happy to ship, happy to meet up for the right deal.
