This camera was released in 2009. It was top dog in its Dx (enthusiast level) class until about 2013. It can still hold its own. It is fast (7 pictures/second), it is built right, and it will give you great images. All of this while having the features you need to make learning photography easy (well, less complicated than other models).
.
This camera has taken 68,993 pictures of a 150,000 life expectancy, and it appears to be well taken care of. There are some signs of wear but nothing major. It is in good condition inside and out, and should last a while.
.
The lens is my favourite Dx prime lens. The 35mm f/1.8g is small and lightweight. It is really fast, very good in low light conditions, and it will give you excellent images. If you would prefer a zoom lens, you can swap it out for a Nikon 18-140mm VR for +$50. Personally, I'd take this 35mm.
.
You get:
- Nikon D300s (body cap, neck strap)
- Nikon 35mm f/1.8g lens (UV filter, caps, hood)
- Nikon charger
- Nikon battery
- 2gb CF card
- 2gb SD card
.
If you want to purchase the camera by itself, that'll be $225. The lens alone would be $150.
.
If you want a different camera, or a different lens, let me know, I have several.
.
I will ship to Anywhere, Canada, so long as you are a real and honest human being.

Thank you lots.
