Weighing only 28 pounds it's easy to load on/off your car. Weight limit is 150 lbs. This is a stable recreational, maintenance free kayak for a smaller paddler, and not a sea kayak. Two water tight hatches for gear, and water proof bulkheads. The rockered hull makes turning easier and thigh braces connect the paddler with the boat for good control. This sporty beautiful boat can be a wonderful gift for a younger paddler just starting out, or for a lighter adult looking to explore calmer waters, yet is stable and rugged when the wind/waves pick up. The hull is coated with abrasion resistant graphite powder mixed with the epoxy, and the keel area from bow to stern has fiberglass cloth and tape protection.
