2008 Audi A4 2.0 Quattro Awd 6 speed manual 210,000 kms Stage 1 tune from 034 motorsports 3” ECS Tuning Turboback exhaust ECS tuning Luft technik intake 034 motorsports Catch Can kit Upgraded R8 coil pack ECS Tuning BOV The good: Purchased in Ontario in July 2022, no rust and was undercoated as soon as it came east. New break all around - Nov 2022 New/Rebuilt Turbo - Jan 2023 Fresh timing kit - Nov 2023 Has decent winter tires in it Over $12k in receipts, all from reputable VAG specialists In Atlantic Canada The bad: Currently not running, will need a tow Battery is toast but can be seen running with a jump Main issue: timing is still not 100% right, I was told the camshaft phasers (Actuater) need to be replaced. Still ran for weeks with timing as is. Unknown: excessive thick blue smoke from exhaust. I believe this has something to do with the catch can freezing and possible resulting damage. Still drove into the shop fine off a boost last week. Radio works when it wants to Interior is far from perfect Reason for selling: bought a New Gli / I’ve put way too much money into trying to get this thing running properly but my patience and bank account are done with it. Could make a hell of a project car or winter beater for someone more inclined to work on it themselves. Or a great parts car too.
