1980 Buick Regal Somerset Turbo LS "sleeper"
5.3L gen4 aluminum block with a 78/75 turbo, 799 heads, 3.73 gears in a GM 8.5 rear, 4L80 controlled by a Holley Terminator X Max installed approx. 3 years ago by a professional mechanic. Car has been driven under 4000km a year (or 10k since turbo installed), makes 725+ HP and runs great. Car has been sprayed yearly for the past 6+ years with Krown rust protection, rear frame rails where replaced when I bought the car, manuals and GM historical information included. Front brake work done (new calipers, pads and rotors) and passed a safety in 2023. Last Oil change April 2024.
Reason for selling: No room for it.
Issues: Body has rust, dents and stone chips consistent with a 44 year old car. The rear and front bumper fillers are gone but new front unpainted ones are included. Car was in a minor front end collision that split the front header panel, bent the hood and dented the passenger side fender (see pictures). Since the picture's where taken the hood emblem was stolen.
