When Muscle Cars ruled the earth, you didn't need to use the whole name to describe the hottest cars of the day; a number, a letter or a nickname was often enough to get the message across. Cobra, SS454, Judge, Z/28, 442, and others all had names that said everything you needed to know. This car has one of the best nicknames of all: 440 Six Pack. Better yet, this car isn't just a 440 Six Pack, but the might A12, Factory Race Car.

The legend of the 440 Six Pack A12 Super Bee continues to grow, decades after they first terrorized the streets and the track. Rare when new, and still rare today, the A12 option got you the pieces that let you drive straight from the dealership to the racetrack. The 440-6 engine was backed up with a manual transmission and power went back to a Dana 60 diff, just like in a Hemi Car. The factory fiberglass lift-off hood and plain steel wheels let everyone know that this car was no grocery getter. Of all the muscle cars that rolled out of Detroit, few if any were as sinister or as quick as a triple-black A12 Super Bee.

This Super Bee began life as a 383 4-speed car. Now with a 600 horsepower, Indy Headed, roller cam, 440 Six Pack backed up with a Tremec TKO 5-Speed manual transmission, this car has more than enough performance to back up its fearsome reputation.

This beautiful Super Bee represents one the best of what Mopar offered from the factory, and much, much more. We obtained this car from a Mopar collector who has owned this car since 1978, constantly updating and upgrading the car during his ownership, this car features top-level parts and workmanship throughout.

This original-panel car has excellent body panel fit, and a high level of attention to detail in the quality of the paint, trim and accessories. This car looks incredible from ten feet away, and even better the closer you look.

Updated running gear from front to back combines classic performance with new-car performance and reliability, and creates a car that is both a show-stopper and a street racing badass. Pick up the lift-off hood, and you will find a serious performance mill, featuring a complete, Aluminum top end from Indy Cylinder Head, roller, cam and all the other parts needed to make, 600+ Horsepower, professionally built by Pro Stock Engines.

The transmission is a modern Tremec TKO 5-Speed Manual, with a McLeod Clutch, and a classic Pistol Grip shifter. Power goes back to a Moser built Dana 60 with a Sure-Grip sending the tire-melting torque to both rear wheels.

Sit inside, and you are greeted by a full compliment of factory gauges in the Rallye dash, and a factory wheel does the steering. Bucket seats and door panels are factory upholstered in black, matching the black vinyl roof and set off with a red Bumble Bee stripe on the rear.

Taken as a package, this car is a rare opportunity to have one of the most desirable examples of any Muscle Car ever made, that can win shows, turn heads at cruise night, and take on any challengers at a stoplight or drag strip.
