1962 Porsche 356 Roadster 356

We are currently working on a restoration project of a 1962 356 Porsche model. The 356 is a genuine classic gem from Porsche and her production started in 1948 in Austria where only 50 units came out that year. From 1950 to 1965 the production continued in Germany. This car was known for its lightweight and nimble-handling, rear engine and rear-wheel drive at the time. We at Porsche Prestige picked this unique, classic and convertible model for the Porsche Canada Classic Restoration Challenge. The car will go through a complete and full restoration and will be brought back to its original beauty. The initial goal is to give back the original colour, Bali Blue, to this 356. The interior will also be changed to its original colour along with pieces in a light brown pattern. Most parts will be replaced by original ones including the engine and transmission, internal body and components, external body as well as structure and chassis. Some parts will come directly from Germany and some from California. Porsche Prestige is a certified Porsche center for Classic restoration and body shop center. This project is being handled by our Porsche Gold technician Erick Hejda and will take up to 6 months to complete and will be more than ready for the competition in February 2021.
