Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed. Users are responsible for adhering to the applicable conditions in relation to adopting, buying, selling or listing of an ad on Kijiji.

Kijiji encourages, where possible, the adoption of pets and encourages all pet owners to have their animals spayed or neutered as well as microchipped.

When looking for a pet, it is important to meet the breeder or seller and examine the pet before agreeing to anything. Since Kijiji is local to your community, this should be easy to arrange. Never adopt/buy a pet from someone who is unwilling to let you see how and where the animal is living!

All of our kittens are Naturally dewormed, No shots, no chips and our kittens are not fixed (fixing a cat before 6 months of age affects their hormones and their health) if you are not sure why please explore the subject. None of this is good for your animals. We also do not rehome before 10 to 12 weeks ever, from 8 to 12 weeks is a key cycle for kittens, they develop into their own, it gives them that time to seperate from their mother as opposed to being ripped from and develop their independence (not saying we dont have a few who still love to curl up with mom ) but they also start a huge growth spurt which is when they truly seperate from mom. Most breeders are rushing to rehome because of the expenses that are incurred at this stage and yes we like to make some money but we also love the fact none of our animals have every gone into a home and not adjusted well ... we consider it a fair trade

They are NOT registered. Dad is an Amber Rosetta Bengal and mom is a half bengal half himalyan. Bandit has an excellent temperament and mom is a and absolute doll .The kittens are all bundles of love with the usual antics that come with this breed. Bengals are interactive and love water. They play fetch and you can easily leash train them. A fair number of the litter seem to be more to the Bengal side but I cannot clearly say they are on the hypoallergenic side though likely they are.

The kittens are litter trained already and on dry food. We have multiple boxes and fountains in the house.

They all use a walnut based litter though mom and dad have a litter robot III (if you don't know what it is then it is time to learn. These are the ultimate in zero maintenance)

The little guys are well socialized and love to interact. They also have interaction with our granddaughter so they should be good in any home.

As for food if you do not know the breed we personally use and recommend N&D Farmina (currently only available from global pets), excellent quality(we also feed them stella and chewies freeze dried raw and first mate wet food turkey or chicken (both the dog and cat are same formula, we found bengals and salmon didn't get along and this food kept moms coat gorgeous through her whole kitten stage.

These little balls of love are family to us so I hope to make sure they are going to a home where they will be family too
