Antique Italian Bentwood Rocking Chair

Hello and welcome to another one of my listings from the land of abandoned storage lockers. I buy auctioned off storage lockers and sell only the best stuff that meets my lofty standards. I am trying to provide the best possible products at reasonable prices and most of the items I list for sale are generally priced 40%-50% off of the retail prices you will find online. The rest of the items that can be saved go to donation at Goodwill and The Salvation Army. Todays listing is for the pictured item. Thos is an item I have been just holding onto for the last few months trying to figure out what to do with. I have looked into getting new material put on the back and seat which will cost $300-400. But If I do that then I have to charge full price and I might choose a fabric no one likes. If new fabric is put on then thiis is anywhere between a $1500--$6000 depending on how its sold. Everything is in excellent shape except for the material on the seat and seatback. I like to try and keep things reasonable with my prices so I am going to sell the chair as is and someone else can choose there own material. This is definitely a statement chair and is truly beautiful and I was seriously debating keepong it for myself. I am only asking $300 which definitely leaves room for new material.
