Pair of antique mahogany finish fiddleback parlour armchairs with upholstered seats, raised on cabriole legs. {Paire de fauteuils de salon à dossier violon finition acajou antique avec assises rembourrées, surélevés sur des pieds cambrés.}
Description: Olive green fabric seat fabric. Likely that they were reupholstered. {Probablement qu'ils ont été retapissés.} Springs and burlap strap seat suspension. Around 2% of seat fabric has wear spots. Cutouts on wood backs. Wood has rich brown / red mahogany finish. These chairs are identical except for the patterns and cutout shapes of the backs. Perhaps one chair for the king and the other for the queen of the house?
Very comfortable for my 6’2” and 210 lb frame, although for me seat ideally would be 2” higher and 3” deeper. Arms a good height.

Inside seat: 18” Wide x 16.5” Deep x 17.5” High
Condition: Very good vintage condition (8.5 / 10). Very well built and all joinery tight. {Très bien construit et toutes les menuiseries étanches.} From a non-smoking house. No holes or tears in upholstery. Wood washed. Excellent suspension from springs and burlap straps.
