Antique Victorian trio three walnut dining parlour chairs spring seats new upholstery c1800s { Ensemble de trois chaises de salle à manger victoriennes anciennes en noyer, assises à ressorts, nouvelle tapisserie, vers 1800 } Description: Solid walnut legs, back and seat frame. Beautiful hand carved decorative pieces on tops of backs. Lightweight chairs with a small footprint, which is great for small spaces. Cream and brown coloured upholstery with foliar patterns. Lovely warm walnut wood grain. Seats: Support by springs and burlap strips. Padding between springs and seat covers. Very comfortable. Dimensions: Overall: 34.25” H x 18” W x 22.25”; Seat: 18” H x 16-18” W x 15” D Condition: Upholstery has been replaced at least once, and currently in excellent shape. Very well made - all joinery is tight. Seat upholstery edging strip on one side of one chair requires a few nails to fully reattach. Suspension system (springs & burlap) in excellent condition. A piece of wood decorative trim (~1” W x 3” H) on one chair’s upper back is missing.
