This model was manufactured between 1957-1959. These beautiful vintage Danish Mid Century Modern chairs are made of gleaming solid old-growth teak. Sculptural, strong and sturdy frames with finger joints and "floating" seats are the main features of these elegant chairs.
Made in Denmark by Randers Møbelfabrik. Nice wood grain and simplistic design with beautiful curves and details. The chair has been reupholstered in an easy going brown and tan upholstery fabric, with swirls throughout. Solid teak frame with unique "X" base design. In very good vintage condition with some minor signs of use, consistent with age. Some scuffs on the legs, nothing major, but must be mentioned. Structurally very sound and ready for decades more of use! Crafted with simplicity and ergonomics in mind, this chair has fantastic support mixed with functionality and style. Nice and comfortable too!!
