Class 1 Heavy Haul driver

Truck Driver Duties: ***Winch truck experience an asset*** - Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays - Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service Requirements: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a truck driver - Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair procedures - Ability to safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, Multi axle - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and heavy lifting or loading/unloading of cargo Note: Experience in automotive repair is preferred but not required.
