Daycare Cook Position

We are looking for a dependable and caring Daycare Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for children, maintaining a clean kitchen, and following all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Responsibilities: * Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks according to the menu * Follow food safety and sanitation regulations * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen * Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies * Accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions as required * Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures * Assist with children when needed Qualifications: * Previous cooking experience preferred * Food Safe Certification (or willingness to obtain) * Level 1 Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification preferred * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively * Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment * Experience in a childcare setting is an asset Position Details: * Approximately 35–40 hours per week * Competitive wages based on experience * Friendly and supportive work environment Please send your resume to avenida@nurturecare.ca.
