This is a Live-in Position! Vehicle and drivers license required. On duty hours are from 2-6pm M-F
Compensation is in the form of room and board. Outside additional part time job possible.
Desire to live on a horse farm a must.
Experience caring for children
First Aid and CPR Training
English (spoken and written)
Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
Depending on the child, you should be physically able to lift and carry them
Reliable and patient
Experience with non-verbal disabilities an asset
Pick up child from school
Provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for the child.
Play and have fun indoors and outdoors, every day.
Meal Preparation
Dress the child and teach them to dress themselves
Diapering and toilet training
Grooming, bathing, brushing hair and providing the child overall goals in hygiene
Light housekeeping
Work together with the family on appropriate rules and discipline.
Bring the children to activities outside the home, i.e., play groups, lessons, sport activities
Care for children when they are sick
