ATTENTION COLLECTORS:
I am the original owner of this book, bought new in 1964. This edition has a trifold pull-out ad at the back, in pristine condition. This was the second-last book in the series that I acquired as a young reader. By 1965, I had read all of the books in the series and lost interest in acquiring any subsequent titles until I reached middle age, at which point I started collecting them again. Now, I am liquidating my collections.
This book has white multi-scene end papers and a matte yellow cover, both of which had recently been phased in, replacing the older style with blue tweed covers and blue end papers. There is some scuffing along the bottom edges and bottom corners of the front cover, but the endpapers have not split and the binding is still tight, no loose pages. I stamped my name in ink on the intro page at the front of the book, and the dealer wrote the price in pencil on the flyleaf, but apart from that, there is no writing, doodling or scribbling inside.
From a smoke-free house; this book has no smells, odours, stains or rips. The book says copyright 1964, and the title list on the back cover ends at itself - the Whistling Bagpipes. Check out other online sellers' asking prices for the same book as mine, in not as good condition.
